I am a writer, poet, songwriter and performing musician.

I am currently working as a freelance writer for regional and national magazines and news publications. I have written for Reno Magazine, The Polishing Stone, Unsigned, The Magazine, Tahoe Quarterly Magazine, Nevada Home Magazine, Carson Magazine, RLife Magazine, Nevada Business Journal, The Business Report of Northern Nevada, the Reno Gazette-Journal, a Reno-based news publication, as well as other publications. I also write for businesses, supplying content for websites, marketing, and other business-related materials.

I truly enjoy all aspects of writing, whether freelance writing-for-hire work or work which lies within the creative literary arts such as fiction and poetry. I have completed two novels, a science-fiction story and a fantasy verse-novel based on Arthurian myth. Both novels are available through amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com.

A little history about me:

I originally began my writing career as a songwriter in 1974 while working as a professional musician based out of Nevada County, California. I always felt drawn to story telling and much of my songwriting reflected this by taking form as "story-songs," predominantly focused on lyric and melody. I worked as a professional musician for 15 years, going through many genres and styles, from folk to jazz to rock 'n' roll.

I, now, perform my original music of "folk/jazz for kicking back," along with traditional folk, jazz standards and popular songs from all eras. For samples of my original songs, please click here.
